The iconic French syrup brand with over 300 years of heritage, Teisseire, is adding a new range of syrups to its portfolio in Belgium – exclusively for soda machines.
Teisseire creates expertly crafted syrups to elevate drinks and, with the new soda machine range, is making it easier for consumers to flavour their sparkling water with a refreshing taste – in their own homes.
The four new syrups – Blood Orange; Strawberry, Lime & Mint; Cherry Cola Zero Sugar; and Orange Zero Sugar – have been specially developed for soda machines and are the latest innovation inspired by Britvic’s Healthier People, Healthier Planet sustainability strategy.
As Britvic works towards reducing packaging and waste, the new Teisseire for soda machine aluminium bidons are 100% recyclable – with each bottle flavouring up to seven litres of sparkling water with these new delicious Teisseire flavours.
As early as 1957, the brand was inspired by the cyclists of the Tour de France and was the first to develop metal bidons to preserve and protect its syrups.
Sarah Webster, Sustainable Business Director at Britvic, said: "Enabling syrup lovers to flavour sparkling water at home is a key milestone on our sustainability journey. It reduces the volume of packaged liquid transported on our roads which helps lower our carbon footprint.”
From the comfort of their own homes, consumers can easily flavour their sparkling water using the dosing cap on the Teisseire bottle. As a finishing touch – add ice cubes, along with a slice of lemon or lime. The syrups can also make tasty bubbly cocktails – simply add a splash of alcohol to your drink.
Today, Mathieu Teisseire syrups total almost 70 flavours – from Blackberry and Cherry to Pistachio and Tiramisu – and are sold in 20 countries around the world creating drinks for all occasions.
As Britvic reimagines packaging, a key tenet of the transformation plan is to provide consumers and customers with solutions Beyond the Bottle when they are on the go, at work, and in bars and food outlets. The strategy focuses on developing new technologies that offer sustainable hydration while helping reduce the use of plastic. Another major milestone in this ambition is Aqua Libra Co’s Flavour Tap, using state of the art technology to dispense still, sparkling and flavoured water.
