Aqua Libra is broadening its portfolio with a duo of plain still and sparkling water, hitting chillers this January. The 330ml cans are available now in the hospitality channel and join the brand’s existing infused water range.
Aqua Libra is an established and recognised brand in the soft drinks category, containing no sugar, sweeteners or calories, it particularly resonates with those who want to make healthier refreshment choices. The brand’s latest rollout will continue to drive its relevance in this space and also broaden Aqua Libra out of the subcategory to become a total water brand.
The water category is worth in excess of £1.9bn, and amid the accelerating health trend, this is only expected to grow[1]. Water is an essential part of consumer lifestyles, with two-thirds of UK households purchasing it in packaged format[2]. The launch will appeal to a broad range of consumers, being available in both still and sparkling in a handy 330ml can for those looking for a recyclable choice.
Ideally timed to launch in January when the trend for healthier options is at its peak following an indulgent festive period for some, the product will also be widely available in time for summer, which is the peak season for hydration. The new Aqua Libra cans will also be made out of recyclable aluminium, which will feature the Metal Recycles Forever logo.
Aqua Libra plain still and sparkling water is available now in recyclable aluminium 330ml cans. Each can has a recommended price of £1.25 and is initially available in vending and hospitality.
