Britvic plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mollie Stoker as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mollie succeeds Clare Thomas who is pursuing a new opportunity at FTSE100 hospitality company Whitbread plc after ten years with Britvic.
Mollie joins Britvic from Ocado PLC where she is currently Deputy General Counsel. Prior to this she acted as General Counsel and Company Secretary with law firm DWF where she took the company through their listing process and set up their legal and corporate governance function from scratch. She also has extensive knowledge of the soft drinks industry after spending five years in senior Legal and Business Development roles at Suntory.
Simon Litherland says: “We are delighted to welcome Mollie to Britvic and to my executive team. Having started her career at Slaughter & May and gone on to both Suntory and Ocado, she brings a wealth of commercial legal experience, is adept at advising Boards and Executive teams, and has a demonstrable ability to lead and inspire the people around her.
He continued: “While I am very sorry to see Clare go, this is a wonderful and well-deserved opportunity for her, and I’m delighted to see her progress in this way. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Clare for everything she has done for Britvic.”
Mollie commented: “I am excited to be joining Britvic plc at this stage of the company’s ambitious performance and growth agenda. The company is determined to make a net positive impact for people and planet, as well as financial performance, which I personally find particularly inspiring, and I am looking forward to being part of Britvic team.”
Mollie will join Britvic in July.
