Britvic is delighted to see Chief Procurement and Technical Officer Matt Swindall recognised by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), in its Procurement Power List of the most influential leaders in procurement. The list, published today, was compiled by a panel including several leading executive search agencies and featured 25 procurement professionals across multiple industries.
Matt Swindall, Chief Procurement & Technical Officer at Britvic said: “It is an honour to be recognised by the CIPS this year, alongside such a talented and inspirational group. The role of procurement as a strategic business partner is increasingly being recognised as a critical driver of commercial success, often being relied upon to create sustainable solutions to major challenges. It’s been empowering to see the industry evolve in this way and to see the amazing talent it is attracting as the focus on smart procurement grows. I believe strongly in nurturing talent, providing opportunities, unlocking potential and striving to be the best we can be. I am extremely grateful to my brilliant team and my colleagues for the outstanding work they do. This honour is as much a recognition of them.”
Matt joined Britvic in June 2020 to lead Britvic’s global Procurement function and more recently added QSE. During his career, Matt has held a series of leadership roles across Procurement and Supply Chain operations, and has global experience leading direct, indirect and agricultural commodities segments.
