We’re so happy that Britvic has piqued your interest.
You'll be asked to complete a short online application, which can be completed on your mobile or a computer. If you have a reason you cannot submit an online application, then please email resourcing@britvic.com to discuss an alternative method of application to meet your needs.
Our recruiters will then review your application, and you may receive a short phone call to discuss your application further. Unfortunately, we cannot give the job to all of the brilliant people who apply; however, we will let you know as soon as possible so that you’re not left wondering.
Successful candidates will be invited for an interview or an assessment day. Often this will be a virtual interview (via Microsoft Teams), intended to reduce the time you are required to cover other commitments (such as time away from your current job and finding cover for caring responsibilities).
A few applicants will then come to a Britvic office or factory for a face-to-face interview. An offer of employment will then be made to the candidate who most meets the job requirements.
Britvic is committed to making sure that our selection methods are open and fair to everyone. We want to support you if you need an adjustment during the recruitment process; for example, someone might need the application form in a different format, may require wheelchair access for an interview, or may need to be given additional time in interviews or assessment activities. We also send out a candidate pack before an interview so that you know what to expect and can feel prepared.
If you are offered a job, you can also discuss how Britvic can set up your workplace to enable you to be at your best.
If you would like to confidentially discuss any support you may need, then please email resourcing@britvic.com.
At Britvic we want to ensure that our jobs are open to everyone to apply; therefore, if you do not have a CV, you can still start the process by attaching a covering letter to let us know what motivates you to apply for the role, and how your skills from other jobs or gained through life experiences are transferable to the role.
A CV is a great way to summarise your experience and skills which are most relevant to the role which you applying for. Remember that skills can be gained across many different aspects of life (not just the jobs you have had), so you can also include transferable skills too. An achievements section is also a great way to showcase what you have done well. You do not need to include all of your personal information on your CV, just a contact number is fine.
Jobs are advertised through our online careers sites. The job advert summarises what is required, and you will be asked to complete a short online application, which asks a few questions related to the job and your experience.
We understand some applicants are less likely to apply to jobs unless they feel they meet every single requirement in the job advert. At Britvic, you have the opportunity to grow and develop in role; therefore, if the job advert has peaked your interest and you meet many, but perhaps not every single requirement in the job advert, then we encourage you to submit an application rather than ruling yourself out based on any self-limiting beliefs. You never know, you may be exactly what we’re looking for or we might have another role which matches your skills even better.
Virtual interview – ensure that you have a good internet connection and your video and sound is working as it should be. Try to find an environment free of distractions, but let the recruiter know if this is not possible.
Our dress code at Britvic is smart casual, so there’s no need to buy a suit, shirt or skirt which you may never wear again!
Our social media channels and this website provide lots of information to get to know our business, products and our commitment to our people and planet. This will help you feel prepared for the interview. We will also send you a candidate pack to help you prepare.
Just be you – we want to get to know the real you. If you want a question to be rephrased, don’t be afraid to ask.
Be ready with examples to illustrate your answers, if you do not have an example from a previous job, then examples from situations in life are equally valid.
When giving examples, you may find it useful to think about:
- Situation: what was the situation you had to deal with?
- Task: what was your task/what were you personally responsible for in this situation?
- Action: what action did you take to complete the task?
- Result: what was the result?
An interview is also your chance to see if Britvic and the role is right for you, so be prepared with questions you want to ask the interviewer.
No one likes waiting, so we will aim to let you know as soon as possible if you will be taken forward to the next stage of the selection process.
You will receive a welcome call to run through all the details of your new job. You will also be provided with a new starters pack, which details how to prepare for your start date with Britvic.
Try to complete any required documentation as soon as possible, as this will speed up how quickly you can start in your new role.
We’re here to help you to feel at ease starting with Britvic, so please ask any question which is playing on your mind, we’ve all had that ‘new job’ nervous feeling so we understand.
